Weaving Emotions

I chose visual arts as a major because I've been interested in it since the age of nine, I create artworks to send a message and to express how to feel about the world. I'm passionate about freedom and self-love, and I want people to understand how I perceive the world.

I hope I’d send a positive message to let everyone know that its okay to have different opinions and lifestyles because just like how we look different, our thoughts and emotions are too. I want to put my investment that includes these issues through acrylic and oil paintings, printmaking, and investigate through photography to make the viewers comprehend and open their eyes on how these issues really exist.

One of these issues I said is about domestic violence at home against children and women in the GCC, yes some individuals may have acknowledged its presence, however did not provide for it a ton of credit and pondered how enormous this issue is, and I need to express my sentiments toward this issue and showcase a ton of feelings through my fine art. The idea of my senior project was inspired by the people I was surrounded with whom have been victims of domestic abuse, and I want to explore through other mediums as well to be able to send the message through all mediums.
